Our initial expectation was to install five NEXT cameras per day, based on our experience with other systems. However, we are now averaging 14 cameras per day! Installing a camera really takes minutes. A couple screws in the wall. Run the cable. Add the connector. And it takes just seconds to add it to the internet. From wherever I am, I can go into the UI and there’s digital controls right there that let me point the camera wherever I want—complete with zoom and autofocus. We’ve really been able to make up a lot of time on the initial installs, plus avoid subsequent truck rolls thanks to the remote positioning. And the IP address is on the hub, so we never have to reallocate a new address if we need to add or replace a camera.
We were especially impressed by NEXT’s multi-technology integration—the modular camera combines a 4K sensor, microphone, speaker, and LED lights into one device, without sacrificing quality.
