Hear from the security integrators installing NEXT in the field.

Cloud-Based Security Without the IT Burden

We were specifically looking for a cloud-based solution that we could easily delegate access to. After deploying 600 Vicon NEXT Cameras with Anavio VMS, our principals, HR team, and school resource officers can quickly access the video they need without relying on IT. The intuitive platform has standardized security across our district, reduced our workload, and empowered staff to respond faster and more independently.

Always-On Protection, Even at Night

Our district needed to monitor remote buildings, parking lots, and athletic fields 24/7, especially at night, on weekends, and during summer break. Vicon’s NEXT Camera has been the perfect solution. Its built-in LED warning and audio alerts help deter trespassers, while always-in-color video captures important details like clothing, hair, and vehicle colors, even in the dark.

Find the Right Video, Faster

The post-incident search capabilities have been a game-changer, saving us time while delivering accurate results. We can search using specific criteria, such as a student’s clothing or a particular vehicle, and instantly find relevant video. Powerful workflows also helped us receive an immediate alert when a suspended student was detected at a football game.

Easy Access. Exceptional Support.

By deploying Vicon’s NEXT Cameras and Anavio VMS, we were able to get great resolution video with web-based access from anywhere. This is especially valuable when we need to monitor specific areas during class transitions, lunch periods, and school events. From ease of access and ease of use to exceptional support, Vicon provides a security solution that truly puts students and staff first.
